Triax Adds Features to Proximity Tracing Wearables, Looks to Beyond Social Distancing

When the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure of construction sites in the spring of 2020, technology firm Triax Technologies looked for how it could help. The company’s worker-safety tracking tag could locate workers on site for safety incidents, but there was a sudden demand for ways to maintain social distancing due to COVID-19. Now, it's adding new features to its Proximity Trace wearable tags.

Procore IPO Raises $634.5M, Reaches Valuation of More Than $8.5B in First Day of Trading

Cloud-based construction management software company Procore Inc. sold 9.47 million shares for $67 each in an initial public stock offering on the New York Stock Exchange on May 20. Trading by the end of the day had the company's market value at more than $8.5 billion, based on outstanding shares listed in SEC filings.
