A coalition of environmental and public health groups filed a petition in the federal appeals court in Washington challenging the US Environmental Protection Agency final rule that repealed the primary legal argument for federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions as well as a rule to reduce emissions from vehicles manufactured after 2012.
